Lead the commerce workstream on Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations for retail and omnichannel clients. As a Senior D365 Commerce Consultant you'll configure POS, e-commerce, call centre and back-office retail processes, design channel and pricing solutions, and connect Commerce to the wider F&O landscape. You'll work across in-store, online and headquarters scenarios where customer experience meets operational detail. Ideal for a consultant who understands retail operations as well as the Commerce stack.
Responsibilities
Lead Commerce requirements workshops and map retail/omnichannel processes to D365 standard.
Configure POS, channels, assortments, pricing, discounts, and the Commerce back office.
Design and set up Commerce Scale Unit, registers, hardware stations, and payment connectors.
Solution loyalty, gift cards, order fulfilment, and click-and-collect scenarios.
Author FDDs and collaborate with developers on Commerce SDK extensions.
Coordinate with F&O finance and supply chain streams for end-to-end retail flows.
Drive UAT, data migration, key-user training, and go-live/hypercare.
Requirements
5+ years as a D365 Commerce (or AX Retail) consultant with full-cycle implementations.
Strong configuration knowledge of POS, channels, assortments, pricing/discounts, and the Commerce back office.
Experience with Commerce Scale Unit, CPOS/MPOS, and hardware-station setup.
Understanding of how Commerce integrates with F&O finance and supply chain.
Comfortable authoring FDDs and leading client workshops in English.
Nice to have: e-commerce/Commerce SDK extensions; payment-connector and loyalty experience; omnichannel order-fulfilment design.
