Lead the supply chain and manufacturing workstreams on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations programs. As a Senior D365 SCM & Production Consultant you'll design and configure processes from procurement and inventory through BOMs, routes, and production control, translating real manufacturing and distribution requirements into robust, scalable D365 solutions. You'll tackle the genuinely hard scenarios: advanced warehousing, subcontracting, master planning, mixed manufacturing modes. A great fit for someone who understands the shop floor as well as the system.
Responsibilities
Lead SCM and production requirements workshops; map manufacturing/distribution processes to D365 standard.
Configure Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory & Warehouse Management (WMS), Sales & Distribution, Master Planning, and Production Control.
Design manufacturing solutions: engineering and manufacturing BOMs, routes/operations, formulas, subcontracting, and the production-order lifecycle.
Solution complex scenarios: advanced warehousing, transfer orders, staging/cross-docking, and discrete/process/lean modes.
Author FDDs and partner with developers on extensions and integrations (shop-floor, scale, EDI).
Support master planning, costing, and capacity planning.
Drive UAT, data-migration validation, training, and go-live/hypercare.
Requirements
5+ years as a D365 F&O (or AX) SCM/manufacturing consultant with full-cycle implementations.
Deep configuration knowledge across supply chain modules and at least one manufacturing mode (discrete, process, or lean).
Strong grasp of WMS/advanced warehousing and master planning.
Ability to design BOM/route/subcontracting solutions and document them clearly (FDDs).
English working proficiency; confident leading client workshops.
Nice to have: complex/regulated manufacturing or engineer-to-order (ETO); IoT/shop-floor or MES integration; costing and inventory-valuation depth.
