Job Description
Lead the functional design and delivery of the Project Management and Accounting (PMA) module within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for international clients. As PMA Consultant you'll own the project-to-cash lifecycle in F&O, from project contracts and work breakdown structures through budgeting, forecasting, cost control and revenue recognition, working hand-in-hand with finance leads, solution architects and project managers. This is a high-ownership functional role on enterprise-grade programmes, often multi-country, where deep module knowledge and strong finance sense genuinely shape the outcome. Responsibilities
Own functional design and configuration of the Project Management and Accounting module across analysis, design, build, test and deploy phases.
Configure project contracts, work breakdown structures, project budgeting, forecasting, and cost and revenue profiles.
Set up and validate revenue recognition, project invoicing, and estimate-to-complete processes.
Ensure clean integration between PMA and the General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Expense management.
Lead requirement workshops, produce functional design documents, and support data migration, UAT and hypercare.
Advise clients on best-practice project accounting processes and month-end reconciliation.
Requirements
5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX) functional consulting, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations involving the Project Management and Accounting module.
Strong command of project accounting concepts: contracts, WBS, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, WIP and cost control.
Solid understanding of the module's integration points with General Ledger, Procurement and AP/AR.
Experience running client-facing requirement workshops and writing functional design documentation.
Excellent written and spoken English; confident in client-facing forums.
Nice to have: finance or accounting background (ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent), professional-services or construction-industry project accounting experience, Power BI reporting for project financials.
