Job Description

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture for F&O programs: extension, integration, and performance design.
• Set X++ engineering, ALM, and code-quality standards across developers.
• Design extension, integration, and middleware patterns.
• Govern DevOps pipelines, branching/merging, builds, and One Version lifecycle.
• Review code and technical designs for performance, security, and supportability.
• Mentor developers and resolve cross-stream technical conflicts.
• Partner with solution architects to ensure the design survives delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years on D365 F&O / AX, with lead technical/architect experience.
• Deep X++ and extension-framework expertise (no overlayering) across forms, tables, classes, entities.
• Strong integration architecture (OData, DMF, dual-write, Azure middleware) and performance tuning.
• Mastery of ALM: DevOps pipelines, branching/merging, build/release, and One Version cadence.
• Ability to define engineering standards and lead code-quality/design reviews.
• Nice to have: SSIS/data engineering; Copilot/AI extensions in F&O; security and SoD at scale.
• Certifications valued: MB-500 and MB-700 where held.
